Oh, and the bird in the photo... That's Tacao, a Martinez bird also known as a Philippine starling. He doesn't actually "tweet" but talks. Specifically, he "bangs."

Tacao lives at my family's garage. Here, he is exposed to television. (Yes, there's a TV in the garage.) And I guess he has been watching action flicks, making him go "bang bang" instead of "tweet tweet."



I want to hear him say, "Sumuko na kayo!" (Translation: "Surrender!") next time. :D
